Their winger, number 7, targeted Brad from half way through the first half. He also occasionally drifted central. He also did very on the other side against MOTM Sam Brown, so to say Brad played badly is very unfair. He did well to contain him for much of the game, hopefully the best player to line up against us in a league game this season!

Tom was good in everything facing backwards but ultimately strikers are judged on goals. I'm happy to give him more time due to him being reasonably clinical at the back end of last season, but I'd also like to see Joseph and Herbert given chances up front. That said the style would have to vary a bit more without Quiche.

A solid team performance and a good win against possibly the best team we've played so far.

As for Tom, I think once he scores his first goal, he'll be fine.
We need to be patient with him, there's no faulting the lads effort, its just not coming off for him at the moment.

Didn't he score at St. Ives? He's still missing sitters every game. Hopefully he finds form soon...
I didn't go, but yes he did score at St Ives.
Personally I don't think its a case of him missing sitters, it's just a case of bad luck on his part.

He was unlucky not to score on Tuesday night, hitting the post......today he shot just wide, I'm sure he'll come good eventually.

I think both individually and collectively the team/squad are/will grow into this league - those sides that met us early on will consider themselves fortunate to have done so when they did.

We will improve and get more confident, that said I'm quite pleased with the way we've started. I'm enjoying step 4 so far, I think the best is yet to come too. I've seen no opposition yet that makes me think the lads we have are out of their depth - now looking forward to the FA Cup.

Good to hear Sam giving Steve Spriggs credit for his part in the third goal. I'm usually quite critical of short corner moves, but Spriggs and Sam Brown linked up well for that move.

Yes, done properly it can improve the angle of delivery besides unsettling the defence who have set themselves up for a direct corner.

Victor Osobu the winger who caused us so much trouble has left Chalfont for Dunstable, and joined up with Danny Talbot and Paul Bastock.

That's his third club this season already - and he has quite a collection of former clubs
