I think we are still in the same region so will probably play somewhere between Welly and N/W London again.
Two years ago it was not until the 3rd Q that the regions expanded and even then we went south to Dover.
I don't think we have ever played a team north of Welly in the FA Cup.

Cogenhoe would be nice. They beat Leighton Town from SLC today.

Only 5 SLC teams went through and four have replays.

Careful where you get your scores from when planning our next opponents. Depending which site you look on Bedford either drew 2-2 or lost 5-1, though I would expect the latter to be correct.

With the excpetion of the Bedford game we've had difficulty creating chances and we also had trouble with that today I thought even against obviously inferior opposition. We missed Scott Joseph in that regard. Ashton's red card was bonkers - what was he thinking?

Bedfont & Feltham were pretty good on the counter attack but that was about all they could offer. Their goalkeeper had a tag on, not sure i've seen that before.

Glad to be through and into the next round. A home draw against similar opposition would be nice, failing that a trip to Stockport or FCUM would be a bit of a treat!
No argument with Ashton's red card! With them having just gone down to 10 men and the game beginning to boil over it was a completely reckless thing to do. He's been good for us all season so will be a big loss for the 3 game suspension.

Can't say I noticed the keeper on tag, if we had I'm sure he would have received even more stick! And for me I would love either Stockport, Telford or even Corby away! Games that will likely draw big crowds and generate the club a lot of extra revenue.

Superb victory by the lads today, totally agree about the formation.. 4-4-2 is definitely the way forward! A complete team performance to gather together to battle for the win after an undeserved equaliser. They didn't give any real threat going forward. Jack Ashton was reckless, but was it in need of a red? I don't remember him going in 2 footed so with his first offence surely could of been a yellow but hey that's my opinion.

Thought the ref was absolutely appalling today.. He turned a blind eye to a lot of the incidents, disallowed a diamonds goal for Tom Lorraine committing a foul, but wasn't tom fouled from behind? And to book Sam brown for what was a stone wall penalty I'll never know?

Decent game overall though considering the gusty wind, the planes were dropping like flies. Looking forward to the draw on Monday.. As long as we don't draw K*ttering!!

Oh and although I ain't a massive fan of him, excellent performance from Elliot today who thought done superb!

Tom Cross saved one against Cambridge City in the FA Cup, it was the turning point in the game

An ok performance, seemed in control most of the game. They didn't offer too much, their number 8 looked decent and the 11 was tricky. Terrible from Ashton, could have cost us today with his stupid moment of utter madness. Feel that we are missing a decent partner to Berwick, a dunks type player, drunks himself would have been great in this team.

A tricky game, good to come away with a 2-1 victory, with a ok performance.

No way a penalty. Good save from Finlay, I didn't think it as a penalty in the first place. There player dived, and he didn't touch him. So just happened. Thought there number 11 was good. No arguments over Ashton sending off, it was silly/stupid for Ashton to do that. He/Ashton didn't need to do that.

Looking forward to the draw on Monday. It would be nice to have a home tie.

Conference North and South enter the draw tomorrow, so that means 160 teams will be competing in the 2nd round.
Could be anywhere from Cogenhoe to Eastbourne!

I thought the 2nd round was still regionalised? Like 2 years ago when we met Dover in the 3rd round being the first un regionalised draw..
