He should be serving a suspension after his red card against Kings Langley? Tbh, can't take the risk in the FA Cup if it's still up in the air.TheIncognitoKid wrote:Wilkinson hasn't put a foot wrong at right back, but looked average last week at centre half. Not sure why Gordon didn't start last week but that's gone now. Hoping that Hoban is fit to return for this one but I would have thought he'd be on the bench first. Herbert or ELJ to start wide rightfentiger79 wrote:Wilkinson has been very good at right back since coming into the team, a definite starter for me. Bunts in the middle, Tom or Scott up front with tommy although not sure which one. ELJ on the right if fit.
Noticed that there is no free entrance for U8's tomorrow, maybe it's because it's an fa competition, but that didn't comply last week. Not sure if anybody can shed any light on this?

Suspensions at this level still don't kick in until 14 days after the offence, so Elliott is available today. His red card will still stand regardless of whether or not the Kings Langley result stands.Mad Dog wrote:He should be serving a suspension after his red card against Kings Langley? I have always thought that a bit harsh. Everything else about an abandoned match is void, so why not yellow or red cards.davealbon wrote:Suspensions at this level still don't kick in until 14 days after the offence, so Elliott is available today. Anyway, have a great day today, unfortunately I will not be there. Will be listening to Radio Diamonds.
Crowd to exceed 700?

No. I think of an abandoned match as having retrospectively become a friendly (although not very friendly in this case ;) )
No points awarded, appearances and goals not included in the statistics, but if you've committed a cardable offence you get punished.

I expect the suspension to remain in place regardless, it was more if whether they have to wait until they've sorted out the abandoned game as to when it will kick in.davealbon wrote:Suspensions at this level still don't kick in until 14 days after the offence, so Elliott is available today. No Hoban in the squad, shame, we could have really done with his quality in a game like this, but hopefully the lads can still do it. Quigley on the bench too.

2-0 win!!!!! Joseph and Lorraine(or OG) in first half.
fantastic result...roll on Mondays draw for the next round.
Ploppies draw 1-1 Bamber Bridge
Brackley draw 1-1 Rugby
No great surprises elsewhere. Ours must be "result of the round".
Home town Hastings United lose to Poole, but Eastbourne Borough get last gasp win v Hartley Whitney, so a possible visit to the south coast.
Uxbridge, Hanwell and Petersfield all lost Cup ties. So we are only SLIC club in next round

Brilliant win. There are days to be brilliant, and there are days to be strong, resilient and determined. Fantastic team effort to get us over the line. Bring on FAQ4 - London away day please.
