Actually Aynsley did a short stint at Step 2 level playing for Corby Town in season 2011/12 (made 13 appearances) but was unfortunately seriously injured. Remember seeing him in plaster with crutches watching the Steelmen and then he was injured again on his return and released to join us.

Did Brennan look any good? Never rated him when I saw him in the youth team, he had pace to burn but not a lot else. Surprised to see him playing at Step 3 when others (Aynsley being the most obvious one, although most will know the reasons behind his career failing) haven't made it above Step 5.
He was taken from Loughborough to Barwell and recently spent a couple of weeks at Crewe on trial. He is a tough, fast striker.

We are on one "L" of a journey. London, twice, Lincolshire now Leicestershire......maybe Lancashire beckons in the form of Old Trafford or Anfield!!

Technically they are in Greater Manchester and Merseyside, although you could be right with Liverpool :D

Why do I always think ahead at stupid o'clock in the morning? Just had a thought that if the lads progress and should they be faced with a league club/ Possible TV game then it could well be moved to the Sunday which I won't be able to make. Having not missed an FA cup game since the start I never thought when booking my boys christening they could be in this position  only in my interests am I hoping it ain't on telly? Please no

Although I am confident we can get a result at Barwell, lets not count our chickens just yet. Don't want to tempt fate!

He looked pretty useful actually. He was effectively doing Iyseden Christie's running!
