I should imagine so as they would all bring a sizable away following.. Has the club thought ahead as to ground issues should home to Northampton, Luton or dare I say millwall be drawn? It would be impossible to segregate surely but 2 clubs hate us and the 3rd, well........
I think Oundle was suggesting if we drew one of the aforementioned teams tonight it would bring in a few more people on Tuesday night.
Yeah, obviously those teams aren't quite Man Utd or Arsenal, but they're still very well known teams, so it's possible a draw to one of those would bring in a few more on Tuesday night. I don't think it'll be over 1000 either way however, but it'll be our best of the season surely, Tuesday night or not, I'll say 750. We're just about guaranteed to play in front of a 1000+ crowd in the First Round if we win, home or away I think.

We know what a good side they are from Saturday, but it's a brilliant opportunity, what impact that goal will have on both teams remains to be seen, but I get the feeling it'll work in our favour, conceding that late on in a game you should have won hurts.

I agree drawn to one of the big sides (at home) tonight will get us over 1000, CC at home in FA Cup 1st round. :D

It's half-term and the weather forecast looks decent enough. IMO at least 650, even if Barwell will only bring 50.

Please note the requests by the club to arrive early for this game outlined in the preview - http://www.afcdiamonds.com/afc-rushden- ... th-october

I'm sure there will be fans who do struggle to get there early due to work / family commitments, but those of us who can get there a bit earlier will increase their chances of getting in promptly.

Your comment reminded me of the RDFC v Donny midweek replay when we knew the winner would host Leeds - there were over 5500 at that game! http://rdfc1992.com/1998/12/15/rushden- ... -rovers-2/ We'd had less than half that total at the previous home league game.

This fixture will surely be around the 1000 mark. Same team but with possibly Courtney in the middle. Nothing against Berwick but that will accommodate the players possible better up top. I thought bunts was great on Saturday so same team for me. I saw Dunks there Saturday watching and cheering us on, how I wish he was still available for selection.

Yeah, walking past Dunks at halftime I did think we could have done with his aerial abilities up top. Good to see him there though!

Managed to persuade my Cobblers-supporting mate to come along tonight! Hoping for at least 750, half term and it's an important home clash so there's no reason why that's not possible.

Peaks is on Radio Cobblers now, or should that be was, there was a terrible line and he got cut off which always seems to happen whenever I hear anything about us on Radio Cobblers
