Our club rightly expects a certain standard of commitment and of behaviour away from the pitch. We are a community club with loads of young players who look to the senior team players as role models. Players that don't match up to that standard are not welcome.

Rene Howe as Scotts replacement anyone? Class striker, ex-RDFC, currently plays down the road. What a signing that could be...

Why talk of a new striker? We are 3rd top scorers and played less games than any one else. We may not have a prolific scorer like Mendy at Chalfont but we have goals from all areas of the team.
One man can be marked out of the game but not five or six.

The lack of goals up front isn't really an issue, but having a 30 goals a season striker on top of what we already have wouldn't do any harm would it?

30 goal strikers don't come cheap, even at this level, which raises the old question of success over stability.

I'm not going to complain about our strike force, we've got quality players all over the field that are capable of scoring. There's a couple of positions I think we could use a little more depth in (RB and CM) and even then we're doing well without. I have no real major complaints about our squad, we're in the position we're in because of them.
