You think Nene Park is viable as it is for a team getting 500/600 home crowds?Frogerz wrote:I wonder whether Mr Cousins would sell Nene Park to us… Not that we would want to hand over money to him mind.

No, if we got 1000 it could be though. Was thinking a bit beyond Step 2. Also it's never going to be an option so not worth considering tbh.SouthRushdenJFC wrote:You think Nene Park is viable as it is for a team getting 500/600 home crowds?Frogerz wrote:I wonder whether Mr Cousins would sell Nene Park to us… Not that we would want to hand over money to him mind.

Same, I would be happy to stay at Step 3 and live within our means. If fans get bored then so be it, sometimes clubs don't get promoted/relegated for a while. The important thing is stability, making a profit and not chucking cash away to get a promotion.SouthRushdenJFC wrote:I wouldn't be happy with making a significant investment on any ground that didn't have a long term lease on it.
As for Nene Park, it was obvious with the old club that crowds of 1,000 weren't sufficient to maintain it. Why anyone would think that a few years later it suddenly would be is beyond me.
R.I.P Dale. We will never forget you.
