Gutted the rain has held off, so I'll be missing out tomorrow. All the best - I think we are by far a worse team without Claudiu but we should still have enough armoury to get the job done. If we play like we did on Tuesday I'm sure we will do well.
My prediction, scrappy 1-0 win, Dolman the scorer, and the rock MOTM at the back. COYD - one game away from glory!

Peaksy gives his final thoughts before today's game

He's right, playing with the same commitment and passion as Tuesday is essential to have any chance of winning it, no reason for St Ives to not be up for it after their semi final success too. Must admit I'm feeling a bit more nerves than excitement this morning, I can't wait for the atmosphere and the crowd, I'm pretty confident it'll be the biggest crowd we've played in front of, maybe even over 1500, but these games really are all or nothing games, the winner gets promotion, glory, a place in the Premier Division with some big clubs and some big derby matches to go with it for either side, while the losers face the potential prospect of being moved sideways to the NPL South which could be much tougher than the SL Central, massive game for both and losing can't be considered. Let's hope we can do it, it'll be an agonisingly close game I predict and I don't expect us to control it like we did on Tuesday.

St. Ives have got a good following at Cambridge isn't too Mar away, so there is a chance. I seem to remember from when we played there at the start of the season, there was room around all four sides of the ground with a bank on the clubhouse side. I would think you could get a few more in than 2000 but viewing would obviously be restricted.Ross1992 wrote:Buzzing for this, is there much chance of it being a complete sell out?!

Is there a stand with a roof where we can make some noise?!

I think additional stands, included covered terrace, were installed last summer to make it compliant with Step 3 level to accommodate Cambridge City's ground share from what I recall when we visited last August. St Ives fans tend to congregate in front of their clubhouse.Ross1992 wrote:Is there a stand with a roof where we can make some noise?!

Yeah, diamonds fan should go to the stand on the other side to the tunnel etc and make that side our own, like at Royston. At the 2-2 draw earlier in the year St Ives fans were all in the main stand by tunnel. There's no cover behind each goal!

Here we go, on our way to the biggest match of our short history. A bit nervous, hope the players are not. We have 90 minutes to grab a fantastic opportunity, extra time could be a bit 50/50 and penalties is just a lottery. Big game for players to show they are big enough for next season.
COYD. Dare l say. Eeerrrrrrrrrr 3 - 2 to us.

Any chance the game is being streamed online anywhere?
