Apparently it is costing the club £10,000 for the police for the Luton game..!

Ridiculous! they should be paying half of that...they're the trouble makers and bringing more people - frustrating stuff..but there we go i suppose.

Rules have been tightened somewhat since then  and as I stated before - the club will be FINED, money that we can ill afford to dish out, then ORDERED to increase policing and stewarding at all home games, again costing MORE MONEY that we CANNOT AFFORD.

Just do the sensible thing, if you love the club, stay off the pitch.

Pretty sure you weren't there then!

We were specifically told we were NOT to invade the pitch, on the PRQ, in the papers beforehand, and in the programme.

There was a pitch invasion, of one person (Fennell!) and he was nicked as soon as he jumped off the barrier. I know, because I was standing behind him at the time, and I know the copper who nicked him (now retired), who told me that he warned him three times that if he jumped off the barrier he would be arrested... and he jumped into (I believe) a three year ban.

So, if you were there, unless your name is Paul Fennell, you didn't go on the pitch: and if you ARE Paul Fennell, may I take this opportunity of saying that you were a bloody idiot for going on the pitch that day, and any ban was richly deserved!

IIRC it was the game before Hartlepool when we were allowed on the pitch.

My advice would be to stay off it, rules are rules and you're risking a 3 year ban. Speaking to a friend about his ban, it also extends to not being allowed within a certain distance of any football ground on matchdays and not being allowed to enter the London Underground on matchdays. It really isn't worth the risk.

Yeah i remember after the Beazer Homes win, i think when we beat Merther Tydvil (sp?) there was a mass pitch invasion.

Can i just ask, what is the point of a pitch invasion if/when we secure the play offs? Even if we don't make the play offs now, we have had a fantastic season, which in itself would be worth celebrating. If we do make the play offs, lets change the targets and aim to reach wembley. Surely a pitch invasion would be celebrating before things could get better?!

Yeah, but we did it before the Hartlepool game, before we had secured the championship.
