Which Tuesday? Bigger game on the 16th than the 9th IMO!
Yesterday was awesome and I’m still buzzing today!
Thought it wouldn’t be our day when our perfectly good goal was ruled out (the video proves it was good) and then finding ourselves 2-0 down.
The end of that game was electric!! The substitutions freshened things up and I was impressed with Diamond and George when they came on! Slinn had a great game! Deacon did well when he got the ball, which sadly wasn’t enough - we have to work on the supply to him, do that right and he’s going to be useful!
The three goals were all well taken and Ravi doesn’t score tap ins does he - that was hell of a finish! Credit really does have to go to the lads for a “never give in” attitude. Wouldn’t have blamed them for settling for a point at 2-2, but they pressed the game with the momentum in our favour and the winner sent us all into delirium!!
I’m definitely going to Leiston now if I can get out of work early enough! The K*ttering match is bit of an irritation really, I hope we give some of the youngsters a run out, need to protect some of our players and keep them fresh and injury free - a derby like this is irrelevant really!
Don’t get me wrong, even if we played “them” at tiddlywinks I’d want to beat them - but the league is more important and I’d hate to see any injuries before a tricky away league game.
