I think the comparison trek was trying to make was when they were playing then, compared to now. On current form the team would struggle to beat a Sunday league side!

Burg wouldn’t let him help if that was the case. Unless the chairman’s made that call but I doubt it . Nevertheless when you ask or get help to do your job it doesn’t sit well with the boss does it.
