Probably, but most of the 2012/13 team are mid-thirties and playing Combination football at best. Chris Hope is 50

I seem to remember when we first put a senior team together that they only got paid for a draw or win, maybe something we should re-instate?
Anyone know who was the other coach on the bench? Maybe Richard from the U23s ?
Guy Hadland, Ex Barwell manager.

I think the comparison trek was trying to make was when they were playing then, compared to now. Obviously the new team would beat them now, with like you say Chris hope being 50 and probably only half of them still playing.

On current form the team would struggle to beat a Sunday league side!

Possibly a replacement if Burge goes?

Burg wouldn’t let him help if that was the case. Unless the chairman’s made that call but I doubt it . Nevertheless when you ask or get help to do your job it doesn’t sit well with the boss does it. It was very much like we had two separate managers out there last night.

Unless Guy has come with the two trialists to help them out

Surely it is a good thing, he’s identified someone who has experience and knows the level, something everyone has said our manager lacks, he’s identified the weakness and looked to solve it.
