It’s coming up for 23:00 and not one comment on the game so far, I think that’s a good yardstick of how everyone is feeling right now. People either not going or just losing the interest/passion. That’s a dangerous slide that we as a club need to get off quickly.

First half wasn’t great to be honest, second half from us was much better. Miguel was immense throughout the whole game, and rightfully man of the match, he seems to be the stand out player for us every game. I really hope we can extend his loan until the end of the season.

Maxwell spouting out the same spiel on AFCRD TV, him saying the fans were great, the same fans who he’s blocked on Twitter because he can’t accept criticism! :cheesy:

I don't see the point in staying away from games in protest, that will only push us further into the mire financially and team spirit wise.Lets keep behind the players and deal with the off field problems in the correct way,at the meeting.

Absolutely. At the end of the day, we are not supporters of the manager, the board, or even the players. they come and go, we support the club.
I can understand Dowlo's reluctance to undertake the expense and trouble to travel from Suffolk at the moment, but if you are local getting down to Hayden Road and cheering the boys in white is surely what a supporter does.

I think staying away is a powerful tool that shows that supporters are unhappy with what’s happened and many are doing it. If we all just turned up as normal with no difference the real danger is that things continue as they are. That option is an absolute disaster. Financially, the money I haven't spent will be put back into the club once the new manager is in place. Hopefully before next Saturday.

Whilst I agree with you about the situation and respect your decision not to attend, I do not think that the right course of action is to withdraw support in order to make your point. Hopefully the whole AFCR&D "family" will be back at HR in the near future.

Perhaps some of the people choosing not to turn up on match day think this will speed changes within the club up,it most probably will, the demise of the club.It was said at the AGM that we need 450 supporters at each game to break even so stopping away is not the answer, better that supporters turn up,pay their money, and bring the changes that we all want from within the club in the democratic way.

I would like to know how by next Saturday we would find a new manager, i don't think we have a magic lamp to rub and hey presto in a puff of smoke the chosen one will appear. (no not Jose)

The board have to do the usual procedures, contact the person they want, if he is already at a Club then they have to be approached and have to agree
for us to speak to them and depending if they have a contract with said club maybe have to arrange compensation and remuneration (if we can afford it) and a contract for new manager, no decent manager would want to come without a contract i would imagine.

Also i agree with Smoky, staying away or withholding money digs our Hole deeper and makes it harder to climb out of it.

That was the first game I've watched in a few seasons, the alternative was going to watch our team at Corby.

It was a game with three poor teams on the pitch. Lots of tactical ineptitude by both sides. Bromsgrove should have shut the game down as soon as the two was sent off, although he should have been subbed as a second yellow was always going to happen. The Diamonds dug out should have stopped the long balls up to the tiny front three that were meat and drink for Bromsgrove's back four.

Corden I was impressed with, he's playing in the wrong position though and Sneaker is very, very good but you knew that already.

I was also reminded that you have some excellent people at the club in all flavours. Hopefully the EGM will allow the reset button to be pressed.
