Errrr that's pessimistic! They'll be relegated on the 31st when Stockport beat them.

Which will come first I wonder, relegation "earned" on the field, or the CVA that will see them drop 2 Divisions? My money is possibly on the second.

Given all the fresh optimism a new man usually brings, you'd have thought if they were any good they'd have won today, fair play to Hayes for having the bottle to put them to the sword. I presume the pitch was bumpy, the ref was biased, Hayes were dirty timewasters etc etc ;)

I had to laugh when I popped into their match thread, and one poster, listening to the radio, posted that they had another shit ref because a yellow card had been give.

Sometimes football fans baffle me.

That attendance is embarrasing. I appreciate that they're away from their natural home but just how do they survive with attendances like that.

In what is quite a nice little ground really as well. Even if the big stand at the end is completely out of place.

The problem with Hayes &Yeading is that attendances didn't improve after the merger. The original Church Street ground that Hayes played at and was used for the merged club has been demolished and redeveloped for housing and a new ground is currently being built on the site of the old Yeading ground.
The main reason for the poor crowds at 'home' this season is because many fans are refusing to travel and watch games at Woking.
