Kicked out of the conference, it's not an FA rule, it's a conference rule so beyond kicking them out of the conference it has no power.

You could have 140 years of no achievement, or twenty years of glorious victories, you decide.

Just been on Ploppynet to have a look at what they are saying, and it seems that they are blind you their situation or are just happy for the "White Knight" to rescue them.
They have a very jaundiced view of us (especially Piggers :o ), but that is what rivalry does to you.
I genuinely feel sorry for them, although a few have posted their concerns, they seem to get shouted down by the mob. In a strange way, it's like watching a dying man trying to cling on to life, very sad, very sad indeed 8-)

I'm sure I remember a week before that unforgettable game, a Northampton fan said on a local football highlights show that he'd wear a bag over his head the next week if we beat them...

He promptly did on the next show!!!

Great memory, I'll never forget that game

Even better than the moments after the goal was the standing ovation he got when he came off against Boston. EVERYONE was singing "who put the ball in the Cobblers' net" at that moment.
