Good start to the meet "We're £425k in debt"

So just reading:

- Rent is £12.5k p.m
- Utilities are £10k p.m
- £180k needed in 8 weeks.
- Playing budget will be the same whichever league they're in next season. Does that mean they'll a BSP budget in the SLP or an SLP budget in the BSN? Either way with those monthly figures it's going to be loss-making.

Oh and £425k in debt, I hope RoLOLs has got deep pockets.

450k is significantly less than the £1-2m being mentioned in some quarters.

Also, 180k is achievable if they put their minds to it in 8 weeks. We were given 2 weeks to raise £250k with no fixtures left in which to garner some income.

From the twitter feed:

"George coming across very well!"

Well there's a surprise, not

He's obviously had a lot of bullshitting practice.

The plan of action to save the Poppies seems to center on making money from the Diamonds Center.

Even if they rename it "The Venue" I get the impression the damage has already been done.

I know four or five companies which used to buy boxes or put on events at the Diamonds Center but from talking to them you get the impression that they wouldn't touch it again with a barge pole.

Not because they were Diamonds fans but because the Diamonds Center is regarded as a bit of a dump now after years of under funding and somewhere where you wouldn't want to entertain clients.

The can rename the place but the stigma has probably stuck now.

I went down to the Diamonds Center for a conference last April and I was shocked by how bad the place looked, I was lucky enough to attend the first ever event there in 1993 or 94, can't remember but I left last years event thinking the place looked run down.

I think the 1.2M was including the Sadact Family loans which he must be writing off.

Just seen on the twitter feed that Ladak still wants some money back but Rolls won't disclose how much.

How many rallying calls do you have to give before you realise that no more fans are going to turn up than usual? FFS, they'll be getting 600 in the Southern League and those debts will keep piling up. I feel sorry for their fans, they should just cut to the chase and start again now, rather than this sloooooooow death.
