You can foresee Mr Rolls citing the failure of ideas like this as the reason he has to take the club into administration when the time comes.

Mind you, even that wouldn't be as pathetic an excuse as Cousins' attempt to blame the fans for not investing £400+ in a ridiculous raffle to have their name on the front of the Diamonds shirts.

Weymouth rectifying the mess that Rolls left.

Cambridge United's fans having a laugh at his expense. Rolls won't be able to attend KTFC's match at the Abbey Stadium because he's been banned from the ground. :D

I see the KTFC Trust have accepted Rolls "offer" of a 24% stake in the club (I just hope they understand what personal liabilities this might mean). It does raise the question about whether there are now four stakeholders in the club - Rolls, Jeune, KTFC Trust and ANO.. Is that ANO Mr Ladak, or an external investor. I see others with Cambridge connections have been mentioned as having invested - messrs York and Roche being two of them - but they are also being mentioned as potential investors in Histon - http://histonfootball.proboards.com/ind ... hread=2865.

I think people can hazard a good guess who ANO is don't you?

So come on, who's going to sign his email up to anything thing they can think of? Bomb his inbox with crap, crap and more crap, he's probably used to it since he bailed K*ttering out!!!

I applied for the K*ttering managers job on Wednesday, with this email;

"Dear Mr Rolls,

Having seen your advertisment on ketteringtownfc.com, I would like to hereby officially declare my interest in the managerial position at K*ttering Town FC. I have little managerial experience to date, apart from I was once asked to be acting team leader at McDonalds when Tracey phoned in sick and Im not bad at FIFA. I have absolutely no morals what so ever, so would be happy to manage a team playing 10 miles away from their 'home' in a 'lego-stadium' or 'Nonce Park' as it was known as by your supporters only 12 months ago. One main attraction for me, has got to be to magnificant fans you have at K*ttering who have never had a reputation for spitting at elderly away fans or ever been involved with racist allegations and the fact that they turned out in force in the recently 'save the club' friendly against a full strength Leicester side was astonishing, what was the attendance 400? I am aware this position will only be available for the short-medium term (2015). Obviously the fully trustworthy landlord, who is not interesting in just making money, will plan to further develop the stadium past 2015?

The reports I've had from friends in both Cambridge and Weymouth, who hold you in such high regard, have also been a major contributing factor in my decision to apply for this job.

One condition of my application is that my backroom staff of Ben Dover and Phil McCrackin are to be installed, and the contract of Marcus Kelly must be extended.

After the relegation this year, and the inevitable CVA to follow, with the help of excellent people such as Helen Thompson, I thoroughly believe I can guide the mighty Poppies to a top 10 finish in the Southern League Prem, whilst making Nene Park financially viable on crowds of 350.

Yours Sincerely,

Arthur Lager."

He is yet to get back to me.

Tomorrow, if Stockport avoid defeat at home to Lincoln and K*ttering are beaten by Mansfield at NP then they're officially relegated.

If K*ttering lose, they're effectively relegated anyway due to piss-poor goal difference - it just won't be official.

If the Poppies are relegated today it will help to lighten the mood for any Diamonds fans that recall today is the anniversary of when things started to look really bleak for R&DFC with the emergency sale of Joe Day to the Posh.

We’d been hearing the rumours about wages not being paid prior to the game at Mansfield, but the Joe Day sale helped to reinforce those rumours, leading to the statement from Liam Beasant the following day http://www.thediamondsfc.com/page/NewsD ... 21,00.html and Steve Beasant a few days later http://www.thediamondsfc.com/page/NewsD ... 59,00.html that increased the speculation – although their messages were such that it wasn’t for a couple more weeks that many fans started to realise how grim things were and we started the fund raising as the season ended - not helped by the misinformation from certain other parties.

The Diamonds News Archive from 12 months ago makes painful reading - http://www.thediamondsfc.com/page/Break ... 53,00.html – but clearly those times also helped to bring like-minded people together ready for the push towards AFC R&D.

The Poppies have at least had time to raise funds whilst the season is still underway, but I think their challenge might be similar to the one we found out about at the end of April 2011.
