The key thing for me said last night was GR saying that the football club will from now on be living within it's means. He has set budgets etc on us getting 700 for home games, if we don't the budget gets reduced.
What?! How could anyone say that? How is £20k a month living within its means?

Surely what Rolls has done here is to get a pre-agreement with the major creditors, namely Ladak and his brother and himself which make up about £800k of the debt. Didn't he do a similar thing at Weymouth when mystery Lithuanian 'investors' appeared on the creditors list?
What this means is all the genuine creditors making up the £400k, such as local businesses, will get no more than 10% of their outstanding debt. If this CVA is approved, then I trust all these local businesses refuse to work with them in the future.

This bit creases me...
The white knight thundering into Irthlingborough on his charger was a familiar name: the former chairman of Cambridge United and Weymouth, George Rolls. Over the last few months and years, Rolls has developed a curious habit of saying one thing with considerable confidence before doing something else entirely. When he arrived at Weymouth, he had no intention the club into a CVA, before putting them into a CVA. When his name first became linked with K*ttering Town, he proclaimed very publicly that he was doing nothing more than “advising” the club. Within a couple of months, he had decamped to Nene Park. Upon his arrival at Irthlingborough, he stated that he had no intention of putting K*ttering Town into a CVA. A last nights meeting, he confirmed that he would be putting the club into a CVA.
And some people on Ploppynet are STILL trusting him! Deluded!

700 fans, 600 of which are former R&D supporters, he only needs a 100 nipping down the A6 every other Saturday, job done

bozzer wrote:so how does that work then,

35k p/month costs of being at NP
20k per month on wages

Income with all 700 fans paying £12 x 2 matches per month = 16.8k

so thats a shortfall of 33.2k per month to make up!!!!!!!!!
That will OF COURSE be made up from non-football incomes from the rooms at Nene Park that have become so popular over the last 10 years that its fully booked every week!

Let's say they sell 200 season tickets, does GR seriously believe they're going to get 500 pay on the gate supporters charging £12 adult and £10 concession prices for SLP football, bearing in mind Corby now plan to reduce their prices and charge £10 adult, free for Under 16's for higher standard BSN fare?
That's without considering the likely attendances for AFC R&D matches. ;)

This is quite frankly ****ing unbelievable;

"What I will say about local businesses, of course very sorry for them that they wont get much money back from what they are owed, but under a CVA they will get some, whereas they wouldnt if the club went bust, also if the club does survive than maybe those businesses will be able to do further business with the club and get more money that way, Im sure there will be some that wont want to do business with KTFC again and you cant blame them but some cant be choosy these days who they do business with whilst others hopefully will still want to help the club out.
Maybe an idea for those businesses that do lose out, get offered some sort of sponsorship deal with the club, either a free advertising hoarding or hospitality at a home match. OK it wont replace lost money but it may defuse the situation a little."

What ****ing planet are those twats living on? Why the hell would any business that lost money dealing with KTFC jump straight back into bed with them?

Fuckwits.

The most important question of all, and I think we should start taking bets now, is:

What page count will this thread be at on the day they enter liquidation. My money is on 450, here's to the next 171 pages!

That's not a bad idea, could we organise a sweep stake, everyone puts in a quid, all proceeds to AFCR&D. Everyone wins.
