Did you ever hear the interview with Rolls on the Non-League Show in March 2011 when he agreed to discuss a suggested Weymouth ground share proposal at Dorchester? He got a good grilling from Dave Anderson and in response to every awkward question his standard answer was 'well I'm no longer in charge of the club'.
He's a Grade A clown. :D

Sara Pascoe wrote:Oh and those people that would be looking forward to a match with K*ttering: Do you not find the idea of stepping into NP awful? Aside from the fact that you'd be giving them money, indirectly lining Cousins' pockets, doesn't the thought of having to look at the "KTFC" in the seats, "K*ttering Town Football Club" on the front of the stadium and the Dale Roberts Terrace not turn your stomach? I'm not saying that you're wrong for not thinking like that but I'm pretty sure we've had this discussion before and people's views appear to have changed.
I find it gut wrenching to think of the idea of doing so Rob, I won't even go to the car boot sale anymore because I'll be putting money into certain people's pockets.

BUT, and here is the real dilema, if I didn't go I'd be failing to support OUR lads. The thought of turning up in numbers and standing in the AW letting people know how we feel does sound quite good. It'd be gate money only from me, no programme, no food, no drink - and it'd pain me to do it, but when it came down to it would my desire to support MY team, MY club, especiallyh after everything we've been through and the hard work carried out to get us to where we are, overcome my desire to not put money into their pockets?

I honestly can't answer until I'm faced with the situation for real. It hurts me to think of the Ploppies infecting NP, it should never have been allowed and I hate it, but could I pass up on the opportunity to drive OUR lads on to beat them, to let certain people know how I feel.............. I honestly don't know.

The renaming of the PDB was a shameful marketing ploy which I'm glad to say failed, they should be utterly ashamed of themselves for that - Dale was a lovely lad and served OUR club well, and I'm sure he wouldn't have wanted that? If its true that Mr Cousins was the one who forced that then it shows he truly doesn't understand football fans in the slightest and totally misread the situation.

Anyway, IF we were ever to meet them it won't be at Nene Park I'm sure, they'll have long left there and it'll probably be a reformed club playing back in K*ttering somewhere, I'll be very surprised if they can survive at NP to be honest.

With the accusations today it'll be interesting to see if Mr Rolls can pass the fit and proper test won't it? How long before his wife is registered as owner/director/chair person, whatever role it is?? Its a mess over there and it does seem to be the straw that broke the camels back as far as the fans are concerned when you look on Ploppynet.

If they do go bust I'll just shrug my shoulders and move on, no tears. But I won't celebrate like they did when we went because I have more class in the tip of my little finger than most of them possess in their whole bodies !!

I know this interview is three years old but it made me smile given what's now going on.

"The business laws in this country stink. It's too easy for companies to go bust one day, roll over and the directors set up again the next day with all the debts written off. It's far too easy to do, and there are people making a lot of money."

I just logged on and caught up on the latest - ah ha ha ha I've been laughing so hard. I wonder what the odds on K*ttering fielding a team on the first day of the season are?

I could maybe understand someone appealing one or two charges, but 3000? Come on now.

How do the FA find all this stuff out anyway?

We might find out more tomorrow when the CVA is voted on - but there still seems to be ignorance on Poppynet about the rules regarding CVA's and Football Creditors - they seem to think they will be bound by a different set of rules than those that were adopted for Steps 1-4. Mind you, I think that is partly due to their blind belief in what Rolls told them at their fans forum.

I can't believe nobody on here or PoppyNet have really mentioned it in any threads, if the CVA is agreed and the Football Creditors are paid anything less then 100% aren't K*ttering Town in real danger of being demoted even further down the pyramid?
