Turns out I'm going to be helping cover the count in Wakefield for Yorkshire radio, so I won't be seeing the guy in central Leeds who's changed his name by deed poll to 'We Beat The Scum One Nill' and is standing.

Norwich South is one of the weirder constituencies in Britain. While I want the Lib Dems to win the election, the only party that stand any chance of beating Labour here is the Greens.

Strange scenario.

Brighton is the other place that the Greens have a chance of getting in.

Yeah, there are so many Greens and Labour posters but absolutely none for the LibDems.

In the grand scheme voting for the Greens will be a wasted vote, but doing so here is the only place (other than Brighton) where it might make a difference.

I considered voting green, but even living in Brighton, thought it wasn't worth it. Not really bothered about local constituencies. It's the big one that counts.

Leeds West is a Lib Dem seat, atm there's a huge amount of re-elect Greg Mullholand posters, banners and signs everywhere.

How many of us have local elections atm since they're of course not nationwide?

I interviewed the Lib Dem councillor for Horsforth and Rawdon earlier today (well 8:50) very interesting interview on the Lib Dem/Conservative coalition council we've had in Leeds since 2010. I asked him a lot about how the expenses scandal etc has affected him. Rather interesting to compare to the people I interviewed in Horsforth yesterday about their views on it all.
