Draw details for the Diamonds are at - http://www.thediamondsfc.com/page/NewsD ... 58,00.html
The full draw is at http://www.thediamondsfc.com/page/NewsD ... 25,00.html along with a map.
Not a bad draw - a chance to visit our friends at Ilfracombe again, for a game against Shrewsbury, then play them on a ground we didn't see last season. It's also a chance for those who can't take the whole week off to just go down there for a couple of days, or for the second half of the week.
The full list of friendlies is at http://www.thediamondsfc.com/page/Fixtu ... 84,00.html

Re: Devon Tour
I purchased the advance ticket which allows you to watch any of the group games, i was assuming that the games would be played at different times throughout the day therefore allowing people to get to as many games as possible. Judging by the provosional times 4 games is the most amount of group games it would be possible to watch :|

There was a similar problem last year - in fact it was possibly worse, as the group games were only played on three days rather than four. One difference this year is that all the games are night games - last year it was possible to get to two games on the Monday because of the timing, and the fact the first game was in Appledore which is very close to Bideford where there was an evening game.
Re: Devon Tour
Bizarrely they've decided to make the two games involving Blackpool all-ticket - http://www.devon24.co.uk/northdevongaze ... 3A49%3A237
One of the games is being played at a stadium with a 2500 capacity ! I'd guess Blackpool brought about 50 fans to the Tournament last season - playing the Diamonds at Ilfracombe, and even after becoming a Premiership side I can't see them bringing more than a couple of hundred. Their opponents (Accrington and Kilmarnock) might struggle to bring 20, and even with some interest from locals I think this is rather optimistic.

I see they've also set a limit of 4 tickets per person, presumably to stop touts from buying them all to sell on e-Bay at more than face value! :lol:Formic wrote:Bizarrely they've decided to make the two games involving Blackpool all-ticket - http://www.devon24.co.uk/northdevongaze ... 3A49%3A237

You have got to give the tournament organisers credit for their Optimism however making those games all ticket seems crazy considering the gate will be no more than a few hundred i would have thoughtdavealbon wrote:I see they've also set a limit of 4 tickets per person, presumably to stop touts from buying them all to sell on e-Bay at more than face value! :lol:Formic wrote:Bizarrely they've decided to make the two games involving Blackpool all-ticket - http://www.devon24.co.uk/northdevongaze ... 3A49%3A237
