Smart decision IMO. Aaron came across very well in his interview, very reasonable.

I haven't felt so cheated out of something for years. We did well I thought, not enough to win it but we didn't deserve to lose it either, and definitely not like that.

What an absolute disgrace that referee was. He gave us next to nothing all game but the decision for the goal was possibly the worst piece of refereeing I've ever seen. It's bad enough when officials miss things, but when an assistant spots an an infringement and signals for it but the ref overrules him then there is no excuse.
And what will happen about it? The ref will refuse to justify his decision to anybody and will be fully supported by the authorities, and will most likely get a pat on the back from his assessor friend in the crowd. The various authorities often moan about officals not being shown enought respect, but respect is something that has to be earned, and that prick in charge of the game today had no respect for us supporters, our players and management or the game in general.
I'm not allowed to slag off other teams in my programme notes, but I wonder if I can get away with calling the ref a ****?

that was awful today ive not felt that angry at a referee in years.
why bother to go over to the linesman at all if he was just gonna overrule him??
he had a shocking game throughout anyway, the yeovil players were getting away with everything and blatently time wasting towards the end, but his decision for the goal was a complete f*** up!!
with the ref and his 2 'assistants' and a 4th official how on earth can that be allowed to happen
that decision has just cost us a possible 18 grand ....thanks a lot......prick!!

As disappointed as I am, I would much rather our undefeated run came in the cup as opposed to the league. Hopefully this'll be our dip in form and we'll be back to winning ways in the week.
I know it's an old chiche to say "focus on the league", but with us looking like we could possibly push for a play off spot again, it could be a good thing.
Were we sitting mid table with little to play for this cup exit would upset me a hell of a lot more.
