Are you being serious?!
Murray is hitting top form and on his day is one of League 1's top strikers. No way in a million years would he come down to the conference...

They were just players that were in League 1, who have been in the Conference and I don't recognise their names as being common goalscorers at the moment. Please feel free to correct me if they are ludacrous as BartonRaz already has

Another name to throw out there, Lewis Alessandra of Oldham who spent time on loan at Chester earlier in the season.

What about Charlie Macdonald at Brentford, ex ebbsfleet.
Would be a decent buy.

I wasn't correcting you, i was trying to think of players myself, i was just narrowing it down  .
It won't be Ben Strevens either, he starts for Brentford at the moment.

Luis Cumbers - Gillingham could be a possibility.
Has been on loan at Wimbledon ( who beat us to the player we really wanted ) but has now decided to return to Gillingham to try to get a 1st Team place.
Kent on Line News writes "Gillingham striker Luis Cumbers ends loan spell with Blue Square Premier AFC Wimbledon
Gills striker Luis Cumbers has declined an opportunity to spend the rest of the season with Blue Square Premier side AFC Wimbledon.
Cumbers, 21, played four times for the Dons during an injury plagued time at Kingsmeadow. Manager Terry Brown was keen to extend the deal but the player has decided to return to Priestfield instead.
Brown said: "He has decided to stay at Gillingham and force his way back into their first team."
The forward netted once for Wimbledon in the 5-0 victory over Hayes & Yeading.
Earlier in the season he spent time on loan at Ebbsfleet and has yet to make an appearance for the Gills this season.
He signed a new one year deal with Gillingham in the summer and is out of contract at the end of the current campaign.

Reading between the lines does not look that promising, but may fit more into our budget than our number one target!

Surely it has to be McAllister or Beavon? Outside bet would be Tom Denton at Huddersfield, scored against us for Woking iirc.
Although both Macca and Beavon have in some form 'rejected' us, I'd happily take either and get rid of J-Lo at the same time.

My Gills supporting mate doesn't rate Cumbers. I'd like to think it is going to be Beavon personally.
We should find out soon anyway... i hope.

I'd definitely take McAllister back.
