javier hernandez cost £6 million, too much money 35 million for carrol also suarez (we dont know what hes gonna be like in the PL) was cheaper

If your'e reffering to the £14 million for Charlie Adam. Then I disagree, he has been (in my opinion) one of the top three players in the premier league this season.

I'm referring to the ludicrous amounts of money being spent on footballers - they are just men who are pretty good at kicking a ball about after all; they're not saving anyone's life or curing cancer - it's obscene, totally obscene. If these deals go through, Premiership clubs will have spent over £200m It's daft, and that's from a life-long football fan :(

The fee for Caroll is obscene! Especially when you compare it to 7 mil for Hernandez!! Too much money being spent panicking over quickly bringing in a replacement for Torres...
