4 years just seems a very short amount of time, during which they would lose their ground in K*ttering and the clawback clause would end at NP meaning KC could kick them out and make his money some other way.

Just saying what I was told the other day, KC could utilise the site without affecting the stadium anyway couldn't he? I guess we'll have to wait and see, unless someone can enlighten us with a link to some official announcement about their lease - I'm really not interested enough to search for it to be honest :D

Banned..!
I am outraged by what has happened and I pass 'our' ground 2 to 3 times a week and I have a sickening feeling every time when I think of KTFC being there next season.
Yes I agree about the money going to them but in my outrage I want to show our presence at these games and remind 'them' that this is our ground and make that point.
However, would be more than happy to join in a protest outside NP on the first match day and subsequent selected times for maximum publicity.

Just find it difficult to walk away without making a statement but I will be supporting AFC R&D next season.

I think the biggest statement that we can send (I know you've said that you will) is for us to get behind AFC R&D and make it the biggest success that we can. The more of us who do, the bigger the message it will send.

Btw Dukes, I don't know if you are coming Raunds tomorrow, but I strongly recommend that you do. It was fantastic to see the trial on Tuesday with some good talent on display as well.

I sneaked into Nene Park earlier and managed to find that the KTFC fans haven't managed to find enough seats to rearrange the Airwair properly. I guess they'll get it sorted by the time the first game kicks off. I managed to get a picture though...

I can't really be that bothered about it now, they're welcome to it and to KC and I honestly wish them well, they'll need it !! I still dislike them, but I really can't be bothered to put any energy into it now - AFC R&D is where I will be putting my effort, not into badmouthing yesterday's rivals. Mind you ^^ made me chuckle

Absolutely agree about getting behind our phoenix club and I will be there in the coming season. Yes, I agree that will be our biggest statement MD and an answer to all those out there about us being 'plastic supporters'..!
Can't be there tomorrow alas, but very pleased to see the response so far to AFC R&D.
Time to pull together and share our commitment to our club.

But subject, of course, to obtaining planning consent and that wouldn't be straightforward as the Highways Authority wouldn't wish to see a reduction in the amount of stadium car parking spaces given the well documented parking problems near the A6 and other parts of Irthlingborough. This issue was highlighted by NCC during the hotel planning process.
