Not known at this point, but either/ or. We were told the ideal scenario would be to train Mondays and play Thursdays, but the fixtures shall determine it when they're released. That will be soon now we've been accepted I should imagine.

We talked about this the other day, the consensus was that if someone sold them on ebay for the time being that might be worthwhile, however we need someone to organise that, and be able to collate and post out the orders, if anyone fancies it please get in touch!

Are we aiming to win the league or just happy with having a kickabout treading water until the proper team gets organised?

Considering its a youth league, I would think development of players would be the key - the option you seem to ignore in the above post?

on a serious note this is all excellent news the club formed, somewhere to play, accepted into a league and with a credible manager in charge...whod have thought it 3 months ago?

well done to everyone for their hard work to get this up and running, cant wait till we get a fixture list and start planning our season

I think the fixture list is more likely to just cover August and September - with games on Monday or Thursday nights primarily.

So winning the league is not a priority but developing the talent is, that is a good objective and one to be applauded. Getting AFC Rushden and Diamonds up to some sort of level where it will be competing at a higher standard will therefore no doubt take quite a few seasons. AFC must learn to walk first before it can hope to start running I hope that all those supporters from Rushden and Diamonds days realise this an have much patients.
