I think someone put the offy attendance at 2057, with around 500 away leaves just over 1500 "home" fans. With a lot of those getting in for nothing and a load more paying below cost price, it aint gonna pull up any trees is it? Must be heavily subsidised from someone. Be interesting to see what happens in the cold of winter, on a frost Tuesday evening and when the hype & novelty has worn off.
Can't see many of that attendance being ex-Diamonds TBH. We didn't particularly like Brian Talbot, but at least he had pedigree over MM.
