First AfC match for me and i was very impressed with the quality of the u18's side. Like someone had said to me on here, come down and have a look and when the u18's have a league match's i'll deffo be having a look. Was really impressed with the keeper (who i beleive is not first choice) and nice to see them bag a goal.
Decent little set-up St. Neots have got and good hospitality, will also make sure i'll take up their offer of home team match's!

Great day all round, many thanks to St Neots for donating the gate receipts, I think we raised about £750 including the raffle.
Really brilliant seeing our shiny new away kit for the first time, I think St Neots were v impressed with how we play football the right way.
The result didn't really matter, think it finished 5-1 but nice for Bjorn to get a goal, and Adam made some amazing saves in the first half.
A ground like St Neots in the Rushden area would be just perfect!

Great to hear that it was a good afternoon, gutted I couldn't make it (due to circumstances beyond my control)

Lads worked hard and never gave up, also very impressed with the set up at St Neots , smashing little ground ,as has been said would be ideal for a similar sort of ground in the Rushden area

Agree with all the above, and an additional thanks to Mike Kearns (St Neots' Chairman) for donating a set of nets for our training facility, a very generous thing to do on top of the fantastic hospitality we've enjoyed today.

Glad I made it over in time for KO too :D

We raised £630 in gate money and £120 from the Raffle, so £750 in total.

Thanks all for attending, and of course to St Neots once agan for hosting us this afternoon.

Disappointing that more didn't make it over for what was a really entertaining game, our lads performed admirably when you consider who the opposition were, especially in the second half, what impressed me was they never once let their heads drop and kept plugging away - Mark should be well pleased with the endeavour shown.

Tidy little ground. If we build a similar design like that in Rushden, it would be smashing!

Hi All

I hoped everyone from AFC R/D enjoyed today's game and also felt that you was all looked after.

I am amazed by just how far you have progressed in such a short amount of time , its a total credit to all involved , and I must add you have the best bunch of supporters we have ever entertained at the HPCS .

I will be looking to how you progress over the next few month, good luck ,not that you will need it !

Regards
