Is the floor of the stand metal? surely that's going to be quite slippery when it rains...

Galvanised studded metal. I reckon it will be OK since Beamhouse have plenty of experience in constructing small stands and I would doubt that they would use materials that could pose a H & S issue.

What you probably heard was the fact that the stand has been constructed in a manner that could easily be extended if required. ;) We need to raise funds to pay for this one first. ;)
