I didn't see the first half as I was serving in the D&D bar but thought the lads were superb second half.

Hopey and Aynsley didn't look like they got out of third gear and Joe Merrill and Elliott Dent also impressed me.

Today's crowd at the Dog & Duck was only bettered by one match in the Blue Square North & South leagues. ;)

Also one slight downer today (though I did expect it to happen and I understand why) was that I wasn't able to get hold of a programme for our first ever game, admittedly I got there a bit late but still would have liked one, will any more be printed?[/quote]

We were discussing this after the match, we may take orders for a re-print as quite a loy of peole have asked for a programme, keep your eye on the OWS

I'm still smiling. That was perfect. :D I wish we had a midweek game though, 7 days is too long to wait!

The only thing that I would improve was some of our singing. The 'just can't get enough' chant needs to be learnt properly so it can be belted out. :D

I enjoyed it today too - shame I had to leave just before the third goal (heard the roar as I got in my car!) to start writing website round-ups etc.

However, you have a very, very short memory Sara Pascoe because the u18s have a midweek game on Monday night against a very good Woodford United side.

I had a feeling that once the senior side was up and running the 18s would be forgotten about!
