Great that Ashington have managed to get the game on the conditions up there look terrible the lads will definitely know that they have been in a game up there as the home team have a real advantage of not having to travel. COYD

TBF we're not travelling up on the day so that shouldn't be an excuse. Not playing for three week though - might be a bit rusty :?

We just popped up the road to the ground and were greeted in a really friendly way and shown around the facilities, great little ground and clubhouse - I want one !!!

Pitch is wet but in good condition. We're staying in whitley bay and are off out for a beer now. Can't wait for the match now !!

Seeing all the tweets and pictures has made me wish i'd gone up today.

I'm leaving at 8am tomorrow morning which should hopefully give me a bit of time to look around Ashington/Whitley Bay traffic permitting.

Judging by his tweets, it seems like Alfie is playing tomorrow, would be surprised if he starts after being out for a while but will be great to have him playing again and if he's near enough fully fit I think with his quality up front, we could have a very good chance of getting something from this game.
