Job done! 3 points! That's all that matters. All very close at the top now, big game at Sileby tomorrow, I may pop over and have a look tomorrow if I can get off work in time, Bugbrook could really do us a favour tomorrow. Someone has to crack soon, hope its not us.
Hope we haven't picked up too many knocks tonight, Parkinson's was a nasty one, elbow to the face but the ref says he headed the back of the guys head, says it all really.

I didn't have the best view from the debanke, but I thought their centre half should've walked for his lunge on Brad Harris. I thought we looked pretty average tonight, but its another 3 points and keeping the pressure on the others.

Parky has tweeted that he's just left A & E but they can't do anything until the swelling goes down, fat nose.
Sounds like he could be doubtful for Saturday. :(

I remember when Rhino played with a broken nose, so I guess he might be OK, either way, Hope can easily fill in. My worry was Sam Brown, as he would be a big loss.
Whats people thoughts on Alfie, he seems to be struggling at the moment, lacks confidence ??, I can actually see him not being started for the next game.

Seems to be going one of those phases that all strikers suffer from time to time. Perhaps he's trying just too hard and needs to compose himself more. The lad works his socks off, however, so it's not from lack of effort. He'll come good. ;)

Sam's got a knock according to twitter and is hopeful of shaking it off for Saturday. Trouble is looked like Joe took a knock last night as well.
If Joe's fine and Sam's out, Joe and Gilly can play full back. Looks like Parky's got a broken nose, so Hope might have to start Saturday if he's available.

I am the fan that my friends so kindly nominated/pushed forward to be interviewed by Look East last night. He asked me various questions regarding how had things changed from supporting R & D in the past and was it better now, why is it more enjoyable etc. Interview lasted about 5 mins, but I expect will only get a very shortened version broadcast. It was quite nerve wracking, unaccustomed as I am to public speaking!! It was very good of BBC to come to Dog and Duck especially when I believe there was another game on somewhere else last night. I think someone somewhere deserves credit for getting us this publicity opportunity.
I expect our friends on Poppynet will be fuming again and I can expect some comments from Poppie Trolls in due course. Hey ho. Am I bothered. Must go now I have calls to make to 1001 friends and family.

I thought we looked a little battle weary last night, especially without McBride's energy in midfield, but give Potton some credit too - they came with a plan, and stuck to it, even after going behind. It did seem that they were content with a 1-0 defeat.
In fact, their last 3 matches have all resulted in 1-0 defeats against the top 3 sides!
