Could it reach 1,000?
The million dollar question we all want answering though Simon is will you be coming out of retirement and show yourself?
I haven't been to a single game this season for a number of reasons, I almost made it to the game on Tuesday night but I had to get an eCommerce design project finished for Wednesday morning so it was a case of Radio Diamonds instead!
I really want to come on Saturday but I don't want to jinx it, we are second without me coming to a game so I might stay away so I don't upset the footballing gods

.
Yes they do exist.
Plus I'm not a dirty glory hunter

I think it will, 1,200 at Hayden Road on a nice day, well this is a promotion decider so I'd think there'd be at least 1,000 of our fans + any other curious fans. I hope everyone's well behaved especially if we get some fans coming just to look for trouble.
Funnily enough I was thinking the same thing, this Saturday will produce a variety of people, a lot of people who just fancy an afternoon out. I just hope its clean, Especially as a lot of people will fancy a wee celebration tipple before hand. Looking forward to it though, i'm keeping everything crossed!!

I don,t think i have ever been so nervous before a game before , probaly because i know how much effort has been put in by a lot of people to get "the show on the road" and also because we all feel a part of this club where as before we were all kept at arms length. So fingers crossed for tomorrow, see you there .

Seeing the state of some of our board members, being kept and an arms length it probably a good thing

You think we are bad now, get the right result and see us at 17.00 on Saturday. Then there's Presentation Night.

Well it's all down to the final 90mins of a season that on the whole has seen the team outclass most of the other div 1 sides. They must hold their nerve and if things don't go right in the first half Stams & Peaksy must not be afraid to ring the changes. This is the time when the players will need all their encouragement and it's a good thing that their will be some experienced players on the park.If things go as they should do then the prem awaits, that in itself will then present another set of challenges which I'm sure will be fully debated on this site next season. My prediction 3.1 winners.

Massively looking forward to this game! I'm even taking the game off commentary to enjoy it!
I have faith in the team to get a good result, Spencer's very recent form isn't great, but they will come out and attack and give us a game, which plays to our strengths as a team.
I'm very optimistic we will touch 1,000 for this game, although I think a figure in the region of 850-900 is more realistic, but I love being proved wrong!
COME ON YOU WHITES

I think we are more than able to go there and get the three points but as this season as already shown us that anything can happen in 90mins, dodgy refs, penalties, sending off but we have had more than our fair share of that already!!
I've got a feeling (or hoping) that tomorrow we will get that early goal and that will calm everyone down and I'm going for a 3.1 win on the other hand pretty sure we are due a 0.0 draw

Me + 1 for tomorrow. A mixture of being excited about the prospect of being promoted, after a brilliant first season, and being really nervous as well! This game has been the only thing on my mind all week long. I am confident, though, that the lads will see it through, and we will be promoted come 17:00 tomorrow.
And then Party Time!!!!

Whatever happens, it's been a terrific season
I'm so nervous tonight, I can only imagine how the players feel - I hope (believe) it means as much to them as it does to us.
We're in it all together tomorrow, win lose or draw - its our club and let's be proud of what we have achieved. No-one likes us, we don't care !!
Oh and if anyone is up for some ground works over the summer, email me on
diamondpigman@aol.com with your mobile number. We've got lots of work to do this summer and many hands make light work - let's hope is to deal with UCL prem visitors at OUR games next season eh?
