Probably the best I've ever seen us play at the D&D, which begs the question - what the f*** were we pratting about at on Saturday? We were a linesmans decision away from going out at the weekend, maybe we'll look back on that moment in a few months time when we're playing Luton in the 4th Qual Round. ;)
Elliot Dent my MOM I thought he was outstanding, but in reality there were exceptional performances all over the park. Great stuff.

Yeah why didn't Dent start on Saturday, he was very impressive, as was the rest of the team, it was like watching a different team, a quality performance. Amazing to think at 75 minutes on Saturday I thought we were going out, bring on Northwood!
And that's a great crowd, I wasn't expecting more than 400 with it being midweek and short notice.

Woodford lost 7-0 in their first league game tonight, that's now 47 league games since their last point, on April 7th 2012!

Its not like Colney were particularly bad, even tonight they still created a few chances and scored a decent goal and I wouldn't say we were awful on Saturday, we weren't far off winning at the end, just below par and we were vastly improved tonight and Colney didn't defend as well.
And out of interest, what was the first goal like, I was just walking down to the other end and walking past the dugout thought 'we better not score now', and lo and behold a second later we'd scored with my view obscured by the dugout :twisted:

Jamal Clarke so much better tonight with Deakin alongside him and Dent was so busy and positive.
Everybody played so well and I was impressed with Liburd when he came on. If Dunks is not fit on Saturday I am sure Nat can replace him, I did not realize how big he is.
I am going to miss the next three games so hopefully we will still be in the cup when I am back.
