not a great game, but NP put in a shift and for them to be in the bottom four, their players have been taking their manager for a mug.
If they had put as much energy against other teams as they did against us, they would be further up the table, in fact if the other clubs in the prem put as much energy as they do against us, this would be a really competirtive league 8-)

Reminded me a bit of Olney last season, who we found tough to break down with some height in their side. We only beat them twice by the odd goal although they were mainly at the wrong endof the table!

That's either a very good call or mildly amusing, if you can get hold of a old programme from the Olney games may be worth a name check with the NP team from last night ;)
Wonder where those stubborn Potton boys may turn up this year.

Sam Parrish as far as I can see was the only one in the NP squad who was at Olney last year. And while Olney were tough to break down, they offered nothing going forward and probably wouldn't have scored against us in a week, so that's probably why they were low down, they just happened to be organised and probably raise their game against us.

That's the bizarre thing, as that's 3 people I've heard say they were like Olney & though a few of same players, other than Parrish the only reasons for the link appear to be, a slight lookalike at the back to ginger Jason, lots of winging & the green & white kit.
