Kit looking very nice there! I don't think anything will beat our first senior kit which I adored (seriously my favourite ever Diamonds kit, old or new club), but it looks nice and professional :)

Rhys Redding - joined Under 18s towards the end of last season. Bright, pleasant lad. Comes from the Hull area and supports Hull City. Chatted to him and his Dad at the last match of the season when they were on their way to Wembley fotr Hull's F.A. cup semi-final.

Regarding players such as Jake Reynolds I understand the decision he has made, and would not be surprised to see one or two others do likewise. Within the next few seasons AFC R & D's avowed aim is to reach Level 2 and we are most likely to do that by bringing in players of the calibre required to reach that level, such as Dunks, Dolman, Confue etc. Once we have found our "sustainable level" then we can start introducing "home grown" talent one or two at a a time. In the meantime we have to consider what is best for their development and that may mean "losing" a few in the short/medium term. Good Luck to Jake, I hope he is a success at UCL One and we see him again sometime in a Diamonds shirt.

Now that would be achievement that even Max and his millions couldn't manage! I would be happy with Step 2. ;)

I'm not aware the club has ever stated a particular target in that area anyway - the constitution states an aim of "playing at the highest level possible, but always operating in a financially responsible and prudent manner"

That is the 'official' line, of course, but I think sussexdiamond may be referring to some comments made by our manager in a recent media interview.

yes I think Step 2 is a tad more realistic!! Thanks for that correction and of course Peaksy did state that we want to reach Conference N or S asap.
