I just thought Harrowby played the pitch conditions far better than us - you'd expect them to being the home side. They were route one and it was effective, we tried to play football on the deck which was somewhat uneven and caused us problems. In truth, not our best performance, but good enough.

That said, we'll play better and lose, so an excellent 3 points at the end of the day - Joe's goal was a bit special wasn't it? :)

Joe doesn't do tap ins. All 4 goals that he has scored for us have been absolute corkers, Rushden & Higham, London Colney, S&L Corby and today's thunderbolt.

I wonder when he'll score a goal at the Dog & Duck? ;)

Our full-backs don't do normal goals. :)

For those behind the goal, did it move in the air or was it just a straight arrow? It's a bit difficult to see where it finishs in the goal.
R.I.P Dale. We will never forget you.

Mal's pics are added to Ollie's report on the OWS - http://www.afcdiamonds.com/harrowby-uni ... diamonds-2

The OWS has been a bit temperamental while I've been uploading and captioning the pics, but there is always the option of looking at them (and more) on Mal's site - http://malcolmswindenphotography.instaproofs.com/store/

Wasn't there but saw this comment and chuckled. That's another to add to the list. Wake up people the bloke's useless.

Sounds like a good result and a good 3 points in the end. 3 wins from 3 in the league good solid start. Roll on Hendon and another FA Cup day on the p*ss in London! See you in The Scotsman bring your pound coins ;)
I wasn't there either but strange that no one has commented about the Harrowby no12 obligingly passing the ball to Joe. I expect he has been vilified on their fans forum and will never play for them again.

As they say, one man's terrorist is another man's freedom figher ............ personally I thought he picked Joe out perfectly and I'd give him the freedom of the town :)
