Much improved performance after last week, the first half in particular was a pleasure to watch. A bit more even in the second half, and we were put under a lot of pressure, but we handled that pressure well.
Looking forward to the draw on Monday, to see who we get in the next round.

That defensive display was unbelievable. The whole team were immense but to park the bus second half and still only restrict them to half chances was fantastic. What a great day to be a Diamond!

Ace and brilliant win.
Mighty Diamonds are the last Southern Central League team in the FA Cup

, now that Hanwell, Uxbridge, Petersfield all lost.
Just wondering if the FA Cup 4th Qualifying round in regional or not.

90 minutes away!!
First 5/10 minutes before the goal I was admittedly a little worried it wouldn't be our day, they were looking very dangerous going forward and having most of the possession (as they did for most of the game), but then we looked even better with our direct attacks, they really struggled to cope with the speed of our attacks in the first half which was great to see. I felt for the early parts of the second half that we really needed another goal as I wasn't sure we'd be able to defend for 45 minutes without conceding, but they really proved me wrong, it was a very solid defensive display, it was almost funny how impossible Ashton found it to get past the rock that is Liam Dolman, another great Cup win
No easy games now, there's a pretty strong chance we'll draw a Conference/Conference North team in the 4th Qualifying Round, but I really want to see us make it to the First Round Proper, so I'm hoping for another home draw and then
if we can win another tie, an away game at a League club would be a great end to a great run.
And I believe the 4th Qual Round is still North/South regionalised, yes.

Wonderful effort from the lads and a great cup-tie atmosphere. It certainly wasn't easy and Ashton looked dangerous at times but we dug in, stuck together and wanted it more. Our play in both penalty boxes was more effective than theirs at the end of the day. Think that's two Step 3 sides we've knocked out now in just three seasons of FA Cup football?

Meanwhile in the league, a bizarre scoreline of North Greenford 6-2 Chalfont St Peter
Though wins for Royston, St. Ives and co means we're now down to 7th. But with 3 games in hand and only 4 points of the top of course ;)

What a win. Bunts, Bully and Scotty were all fantastic.
Good to see Del drag Tommy B away from the fracas at the end when it could have turned unnecessarily nasty as well.
Anyone at home will do!

It's every 2 weeks up until the First and Second Round, so it's the weekend of 24th October.
Draw is live on Talksport, 10.30am Monday morning.

I didn't think it was regionalised, and even if it was given our location we could literally end up anywhere.
