Definitely didn’t deserve to lose yesterday, was an encouraging second half performance from us. Could see Peterborough’s players were getting frustrated. A game of wasted chances.
What exactly happened to the referee?

Going to have to side with those praising the team to be honest, yes it was frustrating with out lack of quality in the box really showing, but against a team that scored 16 goals in their first four games, scoring for fun in pre season and favourites for the league, to not only concede just a single goal, but to more than match them in many areas and give them a really tough game I think deserves a bit of positivity at least.
There were some strong individual performances, Jay Williams could be just what we're looking for in the middle and Joel and Nathan were tricky on the wings, it hasn't been an easy start at all, but with a few more weeks to gel and hopefully a consistent team we can start to put together some results, it's way too early to get too doom and gloom right now.

Considering they’re such a highly fancied team it was a very respectable effort from us. Had we not missed those guilt edge chances in the second half we could’ve been celebrating a deserved three points. The fact they had the ball in the corner at the end to try and see out time was a compliment to our performance I thought.
As others have said, Jay Williams looks like a very assured player and is a great signing for us. Tshikuna deserved his starting place and performed well. Will Jones’ introduction really changed our approach and we certainly played some much better football on the deck.
The long ball tactics to the big man up front just don’t work for us and never will. When are we going to learn! This Saturday at Coalville in the FA Cup, put the ball on the ground from the start, play to feet and we may have a sniff of a replay at least. We could really do with a decent run in this competition, it’s been a while.
