Time for a change in management I think. Thanks for your efforts Andy, but it hasn’t worked out.
The board need to sit down and discuss the situation, and make a decision.

Well at least we’ve hit the magical 10 game mark people wanted before making any judgements… changes needed pronto, let’s not wait any longer.

Unforgivable I'm afraid, don't know how anyone can defend the manager now, Burge said in an interview a few weeks ago something along the lines 'If anyone thinks I should go then please tell me', well I'm sorry Burge we're telling you now,but it's time to go if you care about the club, can't concede 12 goals in 2 games and lose 5-0 to a winless team your fighting relegation with and get away with it. There is no chance of surviving this season without a change in management.

Change in management drastically needed. Can't imagine any ways that Burgess' tenure could have gone worse. Been pathetic and a shambles since the start. If he's not gone by next week, big questions need to be asked of the board.

Been supportive so far of giving Burge time but we have hit the 10 game mark and unfortunately after today we can’t go on like this and need a change.

I hope we kept the receipt for the tracking vests.
End of the line now for Burgess surely? Why would he want to carry on in any case? It must be humiliating.

Totally agree with this, they had a fair crack at it but it hasn't worked out. Time to move on. No need to be nasty about it either.

Ditto. There are some on here who've wanted Burgess out since he first took the job, but I've been supportive of him until now and was desperate for him to succeed. However, today is the final straw for me.
The recruitment has, with one or two exceptions, been a shambles. Burgess has spoken about needing to strengthen and bring in some 'men'. He's had the chance to do that now and we've only gone backwards. Those promising performances against Ilkeston and Barwell that gave us some hope were clearly one offs and nothing but false hope.
Time to amicably go our separate ways and start to rebuild if we have any chance of surviving at this level.

I may be wrong but I think that’s now 5 wins in 22 under the current management, how can the board find a record like that acceptable?! They need to grow some balls and do what’s right, if AB isn’t gone by next Saturday, then serious questions will need to be asked of the board.
