The two games against Quorn ruined our GD.

There are loads of moments across the season that we can point to. That last minute winner at Cov Spynx a prime example. Can’t really be too disappointed, we have been excellent the last 3 months apart from the odd game. We have missed out on goal difference and played less than half the season getting points.

What’s does Loughborough Dynamo voluntary relegation mean for us?

Surely a reprieve?

2 teams get relegated, one has finished bottom and another has volunteered!!! Surely!

Absolutely gutted but very proud of the lads. You could see what it meant to them today and how much they were hurting by the end
With a few key players out and a threadbare squad we fought well.
They were hugely wasteful in front of goal, and couldve had 5, that said - we had some golden chances too, and could have had more.
Not sure on Loughborough's statement, it's a bit sketchy on detail - but certainly suggests they are taking voluntary relegation. Which throws a potential lifeline? It depends whether they keep these per league? Or whether they collate everyone across our level.

To my knowledge, voluntary relegations are treated ‘in area’, so 2nd bottom in our league will be reprieved. Which is us. It will be no less than what the club, manager, management squad, players, volunteers, and us fans deserve. Sad for Loughborough Dynamo of course.

That is certainly the case for "in season" clubs folding.
Sense would say this is the same for voluntary relations but the FA rules can be read many different ways. Fingers crossed for a retrieve.

So confused right now, should we in fact celebrating then?! What a crazy turn of events after a very difficult afternoon.

Interview with their managers who've just released a statement to say they're resigning, along with a director and some other backroom staff. Crazy.
So would they have wanted to take part in the playoffs if they'd made it, given that Step 4 isn't apparently sustainable?
