Is that even further away than Nene Park?

Yeah it is, there are a handful of clubs/ground (Burton, Rothwell, Desborough even Corby) that are closer to K*ttering than Raunds

I don't understand the point of that, I thought the whole point of KFC was going to be that they were the one team in K*ttering, as opposed to the franchise at Nene Park. I doubt there will be many splitters now, probably the first bit of good news for KTFC in ages!

It does seem odd, however I'm not actually going to criticise them for this move. I'm certain like us they will view it as a stepping stone to getting their own team up and running with the agenda firmly fixed on returning to the borough of K*ttering. Substitute K*ttering for Rushden/Irthlingborogh and Isn't that exactly what we are doing?

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

The focus is on the word initally playing at Raunds, this is supposed to be very short term until the ground in K*ttering has its floodlights etc, installed.

Good luck to them and i hope they are in their new home in K*ttering soon and become our proper rivals in the UCL and hopefully higher Leagues as we both progress over the coming years.

i think the formation of K*ttering Fc can only be a good thing it will further devalue, split and weaken K*ttering Town and hopefully see them leave our area sooner rather than later!

Absolutely agree with this. It possibly gives us a local derby for this season with the youth, which could bring a few fans in.
I also note that it's not been mentioned on Ploppynet either, so they're obviously not worried about this significant development.

I actually hadn't thought of that. I guess like a lot of others I'll now be supporting the mens team, but the prospect of a derby game against the old enemy, even if it is at under 18 level is something I'd very much like to see.

Are they in the East or the West?

We are in West, and seems 9 teams in each currently.
