I've recruited a guy who lives in Barton Seagrave. I was quick to tell him to come and watch us. He said he felt he should watch K*ttering but I gave him a little chat and now he's going to come along to watch us ;-)

Well done. Just imagine if we could all manage to persuade just one new person to watch us on a regular basis. I'm already working on my neighbour. ;)

Ha, Septic Bladder! Now we've delivered the best ever Olympic Games don't you feel a teeny weeny bit disappointed that 2018 will be held in Russia? Oh how would England 2018 have been now we know how brilliant London 2012 was? Instead, we've got the bigoted racist Russians to fill every stadium, cheer on every team that isn't Russia, and to make it enjoyable for everyone! Oh no they won't!
Once a complete tw@t, always a complete Septic Bladder!
Although I do agree with them about Sepp Blatter!!

Oh dear I fear

that they will be struggling to get many for their league fixtures. OK they are only friendlies but surely their 'hardcore' support knowing how much their club needs the money would have made the extra effort to attend. I feel they may struggle to top 500 for their first home match.

2012-13 - average, 288 ( 6 home games)
2011-12 - average, 750 ( 5 home games)
2010-11 - average, 772 ( 3 home games)
2009-10 - average, 679 ( 4 home games)
2008-09 - average, 751 ( 4 home games)
Not trying to make excuses for the piss poor attendances, but you've got to remember this year we've had the Olympics so i'm sure that's hit the numbers compared to other years.
They've already announced plans to close the Airwair and North Stands. Perhaps a couple of blocks in the South Stand will accommodate those wishing to watch football at Nene Park.

Over 4 home freindlies our average attendance was 275.

Not quite we had only 3 Home games, the other scheduled home game against Crawley Green became an away game so our Average was just over 330 at the Dog and Duck

An average of 288 for their friendlies is shocking bearing in mind they have had matches against Stoke, MK Dons, Northampton and Rotherham whereas we only had a Peterborough United XI to boost our average attendance and we managed 441 for that on the night of the Olympic Opening Ceremony. Food for thought for all those connected with Nene Park.
I wonder what the odds are for our attendance against Thrapston being larger than that for the Ploppies first league match?
