I would only be laughing because of the way they laughed at us, if it wasn't for that then I also wouldn't be laughing. It'll just be funny after all that was said and how it's changed in a really short period of time (really short!).

The match thread on Poppynet was but four comments long at full time. Apathy reigns.

Still calling us glory hunters

And once again, I think it should be pointed out to them that the reason we go on their forum so much is because it has been so entertaining these last 12 months, not because we're bitter (ironically the poster accusing us of being bitter, then attacks us in an angry, bitter rant himself  ), no idea what we'd be bitter about, we're all very happy here right now and the fact that the KFC thread has got 100 replies while the KTFC match thread today has got 4 says it all really, I just wonder how much longer they're going to be kept on life support for.

They can call us glory hunters all they like, but the fact of the matter is that we're not, we're just not, the glory hunters left when Max left and when we lost our FL status, whatever happens in the next few years, even if we struggle to get out of Division 1, I will be there supporting AFC and I'm sure many others will be too. We are enjoying our club, surely even they can see that, though no reason why we can't carry on showing an interest in the pantomime that is K*ttering Town!

I see that the Ploppies would still be bottom of the league without the 10 points deduction since they have only picked up 5 points to Cambridge City's 6 points.
However, I suspect their league position is the least of their worries.

Judging by this thread on Poppytalk, there might be a higher level of intelligence on their new forum

http://poppytalk.prophpbb.com/topic158. ... df61cc1ea1

One thing he might have assumed is regarding the maintenance costs. I do wonder if Cousins agreed to maintain the complex rather than hand over all those liabilities like he did with the Beasants. With those costs, plus the utility costs for the site and the rent imposed there was only going to be one outcome.

Why are they assuming that the Rent will be £150k per year for 25 years, i would have thought that the rent would increase at certain times to cover inflation and maybe even go up when KC feels a increase is due.

Eveybody is guessing about the terms of the lease and it does begger belief that there is no break clauses and i wonder what other hidden gems Sadact signed up to in his haste to get the keys, you do wonder if he even got legal advise prior signing.

Given he didn't exen find out about the state of the heating system, I reckon the only due diligence he did was to check the seats in the Airwair could be changed around so he could get his two ego-trip pictures - the one with the keys and the one of the KTFC seats.

Those two pics might prove to be as expensive as a Degas painting.
