Correct. Unreal seems like if its football its ok.
That's because of the people running them not the actual football clubs. KTFC have been rocking out of control for 12 months or more now, but really lost their club once it moved to NP. We saw what was happening early at our club, and that's when we voted to put the club into admin (ok it was already decided by KC, but we turned up and ratified it for him), then went about saving our football club by setting up anew. Good luck to KFC, you've made the right choice by taking that route. Results are not important, building solid foundations are.
Yeh good post. I think ladak coming out woodwork again was it for me. I took fans club route. All the things that trouble me about football and football clubs stem from the person(s) that run it. So therefore fans club= in your own hands and im more than happy to get of my arse and pitch in do good work with like minded people. Hard work but worth it no doubt.
Best of luck Paul, it is hard work, but very rewarding 8-)

Talking of hard graft - you sorted the pitch out for Saturday? ;)
I see Ladick is trundling out the old "we've got investors taking a look at us" line, has he borrowed KC's copy of "The Idiots Guide to hoodwinking loyal football fans"? If these investors come from Japan, via Panama, Essex and Weymouth, then the end truly is nigh !!!
Has KC suggested bringing in forensic accountants yet to see what has happened?
I feel for you guys and that is the worst crime of all, someone making me feel sorry for Ploppy fans.......unforgivable !!

In the latest of the parallels with the demise of R&DFC, the Poppies have announced they haven't produced a programme for tomorrow's game, but are just producing a teamsheet. If I had to pay £12 plus £3 to park for an FA Trophy game I might expect something better than that...

Maybe I'm being too clever by half here, but isn't it possible that they can't produce a programme, not because they can't afford it, but because with all the player desertions and potential desertions, they don't even know the names that might be appearing on the team sheet until the last minute anyway, making the programme impossible to produce?

i think you are right RD, apparently Rolls was calling one of the colleges yesterday asking for players to register to play, i hope they don't need to register 4 days in advance!
Oh and thats Rolls who isn't allowed to do anything involving the club it seems!

They better be hoping they don't go out on the lash tonight either.
Good job it's an afternoon kick-off, no student is going to be up for a 10.30
