So the new club's new names are AFC bargain Bucket & Kentucky I see

Though at the same time, I find it pathetic how they mock KFC and all its hard work and I find it quite sad, there really is some grade A twats on that forum, though I guess it goes without saying, even now they're deluded, I wonder if they'll ever properly unite?

And that petty squabble and the various other garbage (like redirecting a link to KFC's forum to bloody rick astley) tonight makes me think just f*cking end it now, ploppynet and ktfc, move on ffs

Wow, they've all lost the plot, they've all gone mental.

I can't believe they are treating anybody who wants to support KFC with the same shitty brush they would have used with use 5, 10 years ago, the quote from JoePoppy that he treats KFC as an opposition team sums them all up.

They would rather let KTFC which is now nothing more then a name and 140 years of history die a long painful death instead of pulling the plug and keeping that history alive with KFC.

Although AFC Diamonds have never won the Conference I still feel the new club is the next step on from the previous and as such I still consider my old memories part of the new club.

I just can't believe the people on PoppyNet can't see it.

It just doesn't make sense, why are they so against KFC, is it really cause they don't like the unfortunate initials?! And I get the feeling a lot of them are going to take a lot of persuasion to come round to the idea of the NSYL/UCL, which also really surprises me, you didn't really see the same with our fans, I mean its at times been a surreal and novel experience watching my team play in grounds with no seats basically in the middle of a field but that's not the point, you've got to start somewhere and its not all about where you're watching your football or even what sort of quality of football you're watching for that matter either.

And of course the only way is up at this stage and as I've said before if successful in getting KFC back to K*ttering, then there'd be huge local interest I'm sure, their twitter account already has 3000 followers, over twice as many as our account has got, don't know whether that's a good indication or not but I still think they'd get even better crowds than we're getting if back in K*ttering. And when KFC does start to be successful, then I'm sure the once reluctant fans will want to be a part of it, so it probably is in their best interests to support KFC asap and stop wasting time with a club on death row.

Serious question. If Joe Poppy pulls Poppynet won't we lose this board? There was talk some time ago and we started to make alternative arrangements and then it didn't happen. Perhaps we should consider this as we don't want to be caught out in any cross-fire?

If that is the case, I can help, I have my own servers, hosting forums (for Brackley Town Fc etc), I would be quite happy to move this forum onto my servers free of charge, and no monthly fees etc.

I think that KFC are starting to gain some momentum and the rest of them who all thought it was some flash in the pan joke that only 20 people would support don't like it up 'em. Bloody good entertainment they continue to serve up though. Some proper good hissy fits on there. I like the way that the slightest mention of KFC causes apoplectic meltdown in some.

But you ain't K*ttering Town football club, your Kettrin football club, the 140 year history belongs to K*ttering Town football club, your club is starting from fresh so will have a 1 year history in around 5 months time i beleive.

This is why Kettrin football club is being met with such negativity by many because you talk about basically stealing the 140 year history, others on here promoting Kettrin football club saying how they won't be going to Nene Park anymore, gloating about the demise of our club, criticising people who still go to Nene Park to support the club they've been supporting for many years through several generations of their familes.
Great quote from the PoppyNet.

They totally fail to see the wood for the trees, in their minds KFC is a rival in the same way R&DFC was.

There's basically two warring factions now, one wants to preserve the history of the club in a new form while the other wants to consign that history to erm history by standing by and doing nothing while Ladak ruins the club.

Once the dust has settled both sides will be left losers, KFC will have alienated potential new fans while KFTC supporters will have distanced themselves and slung so much mud at KFC that they won't be able to join the new club out of sheer stubbornness.

It sums Poppies fans up, even in their hour of need they are still ****ing it up
