Absolutely true I'm afraid, dreadful ground or not, unless we're doing significantly better than K*ttering, floating supporters are much more likely to choose 10 quid for a game of footy than 17 quid for the same level of football. I know some people usually don't care that much for what the scum do in the league but this season it could very well matter.

And Diamond_Wolf, yes just take the form to the shop and it'll be passed on to the trust.

We should open up the Airwair to the home fans now the prices are the same. If you're paying £17 for entry to the stadium you might as well get the best view and acoustics. Discuss. ;)

I'd also be interested in why the Conference are enforcing this, but not the football league -

If the Conference are enforcing this then why aren't other clubs in the division announcing such? I mean, Alty have announced their prices and there is a difference between standing and sitting.

Alty also can allow away supporters to stand on the terrace so they pay the same price as home terrace supporters.

As I mentioned earlier in the thread, I think Forest Green are the others in the same situation as us - and they possibly could reopen some of their side terrace to away fans if necessary. They haven't published prices yet.

I think £17 to stand and watch a Conference match will prove too much for many casual supporters I'm afraid, especially when some League clubs are charging less.
We are unfortunate that we don't have a practical solution to enable home and away fans to share the De Banke in some way, which would enable a lower admission charge for standing areas.

I think that it would have been more sensible to forego the overall increase in admissions of £1 for this season to mitigate the impact in some way.

A lot will depend on results and performances on the field, but a less successful/entertaining season than last will probably result in quite a drop in attendances/revenue.

Cheers ill sort that out on Saturday. Another question, its says on the form that it can take up to four weeks to get your membership card. Do you have to wait to go your card before you can start paying the reduced prices in the PDB?

Probably you'll have to pay full price but have it back dated and claim it back from the club. I'd give the club a ring if I you. If you do ring up could you put whatever they say on here?

I'm sure given yesterday's information on the OWS regarding the new pricing structure the Trust will endeavour to process any new membership without delay in order that fans can present a membership card at the turnstile on the 14th August to obtain the reduced entry fee.
