He joined us from Potters Bar Town about a year ago, and looked superb whenever I saw him play, so I was really surprised when I heard we had released him, around the turn of the year I think. He then went back to Potters Bar again.

As part of being in the youth setup, the 1st years used to come to my college to do citizenship. Around the turn of the year, he stopped going. I can't remember for definite, but I think he either quit or had disciplinary problems.

As for Tommo, good luck to him. As others have said, it was bound to happen at some point

They talk a load of crap most of the time over there anyway.

He's just come on for Posh, only has 14 minutes so probably unlikely to have much of an impact now. Oh and can we have the 2 threads on this merged please?

Haven't seen it quoted anywhere else, apologies if it is, but the E.T is quoting £250'000.

What the ET actually said is this:-

As mentioned here, massively disappointed that Tomlin has gone but I wish him every success for the future. My only complaint is with Posh, in that they could have come in a bit earlier and we could have all prepared for the season, and JE could possibly have decided how to invest some of the money sooner. In truth though I can't say I blame them too much.

Might this increase the chance of Rene Howe signing?!

I would have thought it would although obviously at the end of the day it's the player's choice and he isn't keen on dropping down to non league but the FL season's started and he hasn't got a club yet, so we may have a chance of getting him.

The NLP today seems to be confidently reporting that Tommo went for £180k. With £50k up front and then 13 instalments of £10k. Nice bit by Lee himself thanking Justin and the club for everything.
