Never a dull moment eh?! Even during those first 3 seasons back in the Conference we had massive happenings out of nowhere, like the Westley dismissal that shocked everyone.

Providing you comply with the order and there are no "special" circumstances, I think bankruptcy and its Directorship restriction is lifted in 12 months. On that basis Steve Beasant is probably ok now. Very silly if he isn't given it's stated on a public website he is now a CEO!

Not sure but a CEO may just be an employee and not a official Director of the Company.

Anyhow strange if we are going into Admin (if you believe 1 faceless person on a website fall of rival supporters) why Liam should step upto Chairman. pointless being Chairman for 3- 4 days really might as well said nothing about the situation and disapeared without trace Monday.

That website reckons he was declared bankrupt on 31st December 2008, so that's just over 2 years ago. The minimum is 2 years, so it would depend what his ruling was

You really shouldn't believe everything you read on other websites.

He was discharged in january 2010, so can become a Director

Found a news item from January 2010 which stated he was free to become a director, however the website set my antivirus software off so have removed the link.

I think the 2 years related to a disqualification given for your conduct in running an insolvent company rather than the bankruptcy. Either way, he'd be clear of it now.

Having said that ToD, if it was two years (and perhaps the liquidators of his company did seek a ban for the directors) it would give a reason why Beasant Snr could not have been on the Board at the time of the takeover in Dec 2010.

I'm very worried by this, and would love some clarity although I doubt it can be given.

From the Fans Forum and takeover press conference, I had surmised that Calder was going to be running the club and the Beasants main focus on the PBDevs business. Clearly as two sides of the same proverbial coin, they would work very closely, but that was the clear impression given. Calder would be running the club with the Beasants generating the investment.

I think there are three possible scenarios here:

1. Calder was a front man for the takeover to be stood down soon after.
2. They have fallen out, or Calder has personal reasons for leaving.
3. There is a big problem with the project.

If it's the second then fine. That's business and life. In fairness on that basis it would have been more worrying if the Beasants had gone.

The first? Well if true, it's disappointing and has led to lots of mistrust and speculation which is unhelpful. Backroom problems always seen to translate to the pitch in the end. It is also strange to appoint Calder to such a profile role if the plan was to jettison him so quickly. Did I hear "we're here for the long haul" at the Fans Forum? I'm also fairly sure Justin said his relationship with Calder was key to signing a contract extension. :o

The third? Well let's not go there.....

Personally I worry about things I have some control over.
Therefore I'm not scared of flying or travelling by train or bus or when I'm in hospital or at the dentist when someone else is in control.
I can do "f" all about it.
So when I voted for the club to be given lock, stock and barrells to Mr Cousins - I signed away "my right to get worried".
The Club has been owned by "shhhh you know who" for some time and this hardly changes that.
What we can do something about is getting our backsides down to Nene Park to swell the somewhat dissapointing gates just recently.
I know the reasons for slipping below the magic 1000 figures for attendance but again that's down to weather, financial climate, fixture pile up - all items we have no control over.
So, after a cracking game on Tuesday with 5 goals and some excellent crossing and corners, it's time to focus on the footie and get the buzz back at Nene Park.
