from reading this we havent kept joe until the end of the season, hes already gone their to train
Re: Joe Day transfer fee is.....
Paul Driver has just confirmed to me that Joe Day is now a Posh player and has started training with them. He will not be playing for us again but equally due to the transfer / loan window being closed he cannot play for his new club until next season.

Sad to see him leave its been a fantastic season for him and he has developed into a fine goalkeeper under tough circumstances.
All the best for the future.

Very Sorry Joe is going a lovely lad, but good luck to him and also well done to Lance for his coaching that has helped Joe come on. Annoyed that we won,t be able to see Joe off properly
Re: Joe Day transfer fee is.....
Shame he's leaving before the end of the season, any idea of why with the transfer window shut? But the deal is obviously excellent for everyone, we get some essential funds to keep going for now, Joe joins a potential Championship club and Peterborough have a superb prospect on their hands, he can get better and better being only 20, so good luck to him and who knows we might be able to get him back here on loan next season as I would have thought he might be one for the future at P'Boro.
Means we'll get to see Simon Evans on Saturday as well.

If he's just training with them maybe we can invite him back on Saturday or against Kiddy so he can say farewell to us properly? A bit like what Dale did when he went back to Forest the 1st time.

Really Sad to see him go but I wish him all the best for the future and wish him every success, Great servant to the club and stepped up to the plate when we needed him most after the loss of Dale ... Great young Keeper an has developed well under the guidance of the youth set up and JE, hope we see him down at Nene Park soon maybe even on loan to us at some point or if not just so that we can say thankyou and give him a good send off ...

Absolutely spot on. I hope the club does the right thing and has him parade around the pitch before the game so we can wish him all the best.Sara Pascoe wrote:If he's just training with them maybe we can invite him back on Saturday or against Kiddy so he can say farewell to us properly?
