Missed opportunity there perhaps. Surely we need to be shoving the buckets under the noses of visitors/stallholders rather than hoping they are chanced upon?
It sounds like you are volunteering for an early start next Sunday to go on bucket duty and show people how it's done.
I would be more than happy to except we are moving my Granddad from his home on Sunday to sheltered accommodation, its only one side of Higham to the other, but given my Father suffers from a heart condition and my brother lives in Manchester it is mainly down to me to move his belongings! Trust me, I have an early start and late finish already on this and otherwise would have been more than willing to assist. As per my email through the moonfruit site, my expertise and service are available where applicable/time permitting - just let me know what else I can assist with.
I think the point still warrants its merits though, we seem to have a number of volunteers for Sunday, would it be worth carrying out a meet and donate campaign rather than static buckets - or even better, as well as?

Just a reminder that if you have anything you can donate for the car boot sale. Could you please drop boxes off at the club during the day and Dazzler or myself will move to the cabin.
If you need anything picking up in the Rushden area, then Red Diamond has said that he could possibly arrange to pick-up if you can't get down to the club.
Please PM Red Diamond to arrange.

In a word "No"
Click on the PM icon under the avatar in
my post and fill in the text panel. then click submit at the bottom of the page. If it shows quotes/pastes then just delete them out if you want and just leave your details.
That should work

Any more car boot donations? I (and probably Redsnapper when I check with him) should be at the cabin from 10am til Midday ish on Saturday if you have more to donate.
We'll just be sorting things out ready for the sale on Sunday.

Quick update
Yes I'll be there with Dazzler from 10 - 12 noon on Saturday to take in any more stuff at the cabin. We will need a steady stream of saleable bits and pieces coming in to be able to help support the trust and football club in raising some funds.
I have sent out a PM or contacted those who have offered help in looking after the stall. If you can give up a little time to help either sorting out and collecting items or even manning the stall on Sundays then please drop me a PM. Even if its only a few hours, the more that help the easier it is
Many thanks
Mal
